Thank you for taking the time to read some of our stories. New stories will be added throughout the year, and we hope you enjoy them. Please remember that our grammar and writing skills are a work in progress. These stories are the sole work of each kid, and there are mistakes in all of them. Therefore, they are fairly accurate measuring sticks as to how well the kids understand the use of grammar and the writing process. Each story is dated, and I hope you notice how their skills grow as the year goes on. Growth is what we are looking for.
One last note, even though all the kids have worked hard, not all of their stories will be published on the web. It seems, we may have some future Stephen King in the 5th grade, and while every kid gets to write what they want, they have to get by the censor (me) to be published.
